Personal and professional wellness and self-care are essential within the paradigms of working with various members of the community. This awareness will allow them to identify distressing situations; life-changing experiences and personal neglect. After the session, the counsellors and educators will have an expanded understanding of how to enhance personal wellness and apply self-care to have healthier relationships and job satisfaction.
By implementing appropriate wellness and self-care strategies they will be better equipped to offer educational tasks, making a. essential difference which will allow job satisfaction and improved self-care. We emphasize practical tips to prevent distress, burnout and compassion fatigue.
