. This awareness will allow them to identify crisis situations; traumatic experiences and the aftermath of trauma from a manager’s perspective. After the session the manager will have an expanded understanding of how and when to referred people to the best available professional to assist the person in need.
The manager’s perspective is a diverse perspective, because he/she has to fulfil a managerial function, negotiating care support for traumatized people with various policies, procedures, labour legislation and adhering to the needs of educators and the school community.
By offering appropriate victim support the manager will be able to concentrate on management tasks and educational roles and responsibilities, while making a substantive difference which will allow job satisfaction and improved self-care.
